    Haha...I meant to post this...classic Amish Gone Wild!!!  They are establishing a community over near East Jordan....hard working and they make some damn tasty baked goods!

    They approached my buddy about selling his 120 acres which is just down the road from them but he turned them down.

They are pretty good bunch I have to say..

But I'll tell you this..watch that area and the surrounding,..They are moving in buying prime properties..it's crazy what happens within 3-4 years and they control a pretty damn large land mass..

Yup, they start business, they don't pay workman's comp.. Every person that works is listed as an owner..10-15 owners..Watch..it's crazy..3 years and your town has hitching posts

They Mennonites came in here strong for a few years buying a bunch of small farms.  Hard working, but can be a strange bunch.

You ever ride up around Barneveld toward Alder Creek area?  Last year was the first I was up that way in like 15-20 years, and basically thousands of acres adjoined together are now all Amish homesteads.  The trail goes pretty much where it always did, which is now right through the heart of their land.  Impressed me really.

Now, if we as a group don't fuck it up, we'll be o.k., but you know how that goes....:wall:

I've never ridden sleds through there but I travel that area monthly for work. The Amish are good people, I have quite a few that are customers.

Lot of Amish near my in-laws place up N (over by Dripper and Fordly)  The pies and cookies the make are fucking ridiculous.

Those pies make me weak in the knees. There’s a place called Yoder’s off 131 south of caddy that sells that stuff. 😛😛

My MIL brought a cherry and apple pie home last month for my FILs birthday. Best pies ever :bc:  

 

The peanut butter cookies are absolutely insane.
