Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted November 2, 2019 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted November 2, 2019 (edited) Or $16,250 per person or $31,235 each for the 166 million workers She admits it may cost 2 million jobs as well. But she's not a socialist. She's done, she may get the nomination but no way she can sell that in the GE. Thanks Pocahontas. The minimum wage was just raised in Illinois and will be step implemented. Our city pool was on a shoestring budget. The wages increase meant they couldn’t meet payroll. A questionnaire went out to residents. Increase user fees substantially? Pool is closed next season. A referendum will need to be ok’ed then passed for it to reopen. Nobody wins in this. The 3.5 trillion figure was for 2017, and obviously wouldn’t stay flat over the next decade. Unchecked, they’re projected to hit 6 trillion by 2027. I don’t get public pools, they’re very expensive to maintain and they just don’t seem worth it. Just go jump in a lake if you want to swim. Guest
If Warrens' proposal is really getting traction, then I predict not only a race war, but a tax war. People will only get pushed so far until they explode. I see that happening in America.
