I have mixed feelings about Unions, I'm well aware they are needed in many shops/Industries, but having been on this Earth for over 72 years I also have seen shops go out of business and even out of Country do to wage & benefit issues being higher than companies can pay and still remain competitive. I'll get about $1600 a month when I turn 55. I can take an early pension at 50 for 50% of that but that would be dumb.
