What type of work will they be doing?

I only hire new engineering grads fresh out of university, marks aren't that important, personality is much more.

Technical stuff, some engineers but not all.

I think of all the degrees offered right now, an engineering degree is about the most useful to the world.  ANY engineering defeee; CE, AE, EE, ME, Chen E,etc...

It’s the new “Business” or “IT” degree. The fact it is one of the more difficult degrees to obtain will keep it in demand.

The absolute most valuable degree is either a bachelors or masters in nursing or an advanced nurse practitioner. APN’s are hauling down some huge cash and can write their own ticket anywhere.

Absolutely.  Any of those give you lots of options.  I work with engineers who lead sales teams, run plants, business systems, just to name a few.

My engineering degree was much harder to get than my MBA.  If you can get through engineering school many things will come easier.
