Went to step daughters pinning ceremony for college graduation last night.

Got 236 mpg on the 16 mile drive there and just a touch over 40 on the 15 mile drive back.  So around 77-78 mpg over 31 miles .4 gallons of gas and around 85 cents of electricity.  So around $2.50 spent.  Wish the battery was was twice the size and was 20 kwh battery as the would allow 40 miles on $1.60.

the pickup would have been around $7.00 in gas or so for this journey.... can’t wait for a plug-in hybrid f150 to come out.  Hopefully the battery is big enough for 35-40 miles and a full $7500 tax credit.

Great work. You are pissing off the dinosaurs. Their little Trex fingers can barely type insults fast enough.

If it uses gas it's not an EV :flush:

Has an ev tax credit and free access to carpool lanes in California even though it has a gas tank

Wife is using just a few drops of gas on her round trip commute to work.

If I could get her to remember to put it pure mode every time she got in she wouldn’t use any gas...  default is hybrid mode and the ICE kicks in a lot sooner compare to Pure mode

Installed a 240 volt outlet in the garage should go from empty to full on battery in 3 to 3.5 hours.  So should be able to get 6 miles per hour of charging On 120 volt it was 7 hours plus.  Found that we need faster charging as running errands throughout the day and wife wouldnt have a full charge to get to work and back at night.

side note....  not sure why they charge so much for narrow backs to install outlets.  It is truely mindless work on working with residential voltages.
