it's funny, yet sad at the same time. at the end of the day, most cars will be built offshore, and american companies will have to shell out a little more money to the foreign workers, because mexico was smart enough to get that put into the new deal. trump the deal maker.

it's like the boss at a car dealership saying salespeople get a trip to hawaii if they sell 100 cars a year despite the fact no one has ever even sold close to 50.

'EXCELLENT' deal!

bohica thought all US trucks made in mexico were going to be slapped with  high tariffs, forcing them to be made in the US instead. he didn't realize that the tariffs are only on trucks above a certain number. a number we never reached. even if we did reach it, the cost of a few tariffs would be peanuts compared to the savings they made on manufacturing all the others offshore  some people are so fucking dumb.

Strong pols always bring home the bacon and Illinois gives more to the Treasury than it gets back, so yes it was good to see an Illinois pol make it to the big chair.

Let me tell you something, you think it's short term, it's going to be longer term, our President has made the decision to start a trade war with everyone at one time, a multi-front war if you will and you have to ask yourself how did things end for the last asshole who assaulted the world.

Everybody need friends that laugh with them, not at them.

Nope.   China will have to make a decision on beans by next spring.

This is what Ben struggling with. He started off fast with all the up coming trade deals.  The only one being done is SK which is not much better at all despite being a terrible deal for the US   he must be gone on another 755mile trip. Clown.

Hey they doubled the export!!!!!!!! Even though they never sell close to the original deal.  What a great deal that is!!!! Trump!!!!

They cut their tariff on our autos in half.....that will increase our sales there

no it won't......a throw in from SK because they know there is no market for American cars there.

 so gullible.

and for the tenth time why was Trump's only non negotiable demand for any new trade deal not included?

So you are saying the concessions the SK made did not benefit us at all? Is that your position??? That the new deal is no better than the old deal?

Did slinger jack your account?

the new bill is very similar to the old deal. The one Trump declared was one of the worst deals in the history of man, one that cost "hundreds of thousands" of American jobs and a massive trade deficit with SK. It will change very little.

Trumps rhetoric is just that. The new deal is better than the old deal. Period.

koreans primarily buy their own cars, as they're alot cheaper than US cars, even if they didnt have tariffs on them. you are a typical dump supporter - just plain dumb.

worst in history to excellent with a few minor changes and window dressing. Impressive!

So, when the rest of these wins coming?

The quotas on steel are the win.

There will be more deals.....and they will be better than prior deals. The tariffs on China are destroying them.

The markets already chose a winner.....and they see the US coming out ahead.

Sorry that hurts you

it doesn't hurt me at all. This deal has nothing more than minor changes. That's a fact.

when are these deals coming? How do you know they will be better? You sound exactly like Trump btw

speaking of which...

remember when the rwws cried about obama doing one, maybe two, campaign stints for others, instead of being in the WH working? christ trump is out damn near every week, in a different state, doing the same thing.

Yah Unlike Barry after a full days work he does campaigning on his own time :)
