When the home video scene first started there was a local video store in our town, was always super busy (before big corporate chains) and dude always had a new porsche. Went to school with his kids and my sister was friends with his daughter. they used to take my sister on vacations with them. He married this one chick in our neighborhood who was known to be a bit of a coke whore. I was always like "I wonder if he knows about her". Several years later he got busted with 7 kilos of coke. Turns out he was a pretty prolific drug distributor. The video store was a cash business that he used to launder drug money.

my brother and I almost bought a store around the same time frame. I think there are actually still a few left. how they stay in business I have no idea.

Closest thing to video store I've seen is a place in Lincoln, Maine. They started as a video store then added pizza/sandwiches to survive. Go in get a pizza, 6 pack  and rent a porn DVD...Perfect!!!!

Can't say that I remember that show but i have seen some of the Faces of Death movies that started out in the late 70's. This video made me think maybe they should do a modern day version

I'm not even sure Spike TV is still around to be honest. I gave up cable a while back

They are now Paramount network. No matter though.  Spike tv went down the crapper when they decided to get away from that nasty “toxic masculinity”.  It’s pretty lame now but, the metrosexuals and librulz prolly like it.
