Looking at this chart he looks to be around 40% at this time and Republicans won the house back in record fashion and took back multiple seats in the Senate when many were no up for reelection. The midterms will speak volumes. If Democrats win in 2010 fashion then the country is against trump. if Republicans add seats they are with him. Democrats are clinging to Family separation which is a self-inflicted wound. If that issue didn't happen Trump is in the mid 50's riding the NK and booming economy wave. Is Family Separation as unpopular as ObamaCare, we will see?

No, that would be a half year on from now.  Obama's second year average was +47%.

He far surpasses Trump.

Also helpful is using the same polling source.  Go research the RCP historical data.
