Usually in a recession the government will spend money in an effort to stimulate the economy and keep it alive. What will Wynnebag and Trudope do if we hit a recession. They will go to the cupboard and find the cupboard is bare since they already spent all the money and then some.

That seems to be the way of yesterday, as Donny Trump gives the biggest tax break to the wealthy in a great economy.... doubled the deficit but who cares right?

 

WHEN the recession hits again we will simply spend more money and have more debt - nothing new here - gone are the days of 8 surpluses in a row   not that your party knows about this

If the LIbs campaigned on balanced budget they would get ripped hard since its been a decade since last surplus (3 of just 4 since 1960).  So go for spending and see if you can attract more votes.  

This will make the PC's campaign hard on balanced budgets, which will be cuts to services
