f7ben
The architecture of WI trails leaves a lot to be desired. Many are small slow speed trails but it is hard to argue that anyone does a better job keeping the trails in pristine shape than WI

I think if one wants better riding then northern Maine they have to go to Canada Well you have obviously never been to Wisconsin. When Snow Goer used to have the best areas editions Wisconsin was always in the top 2 or 3. Usually UP and Yellowstone were 1 or 2. @bussman said guys in Maine dont know how to ride. So those trails suit them perfect.

They are. If you are not riding poatato fields you are riding logging roads designed for 18 wheelers loaded with log to run at 50 mph. Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted February 28, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted February 28, 2018 Its 90 from Caribu to portage takes 3-4 groomer passes to groom. The fields are groomed with a median strip so the dude coming at you from the other direction is 60 ft to your left.
Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted February 28, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted February 28, 2018 The best part about Caribu is the trails are maintained by the Caribu parks and recreation dept. So they have 2 guys who work 40 hrs a week grooming.

Trees will jump out in front of you!!!!

You can take em at 50-60 . then punch it coming out of them. NH is a combination of the 2. jammin
So at the end of the day putting on 400 miles in Maine is like doing 170 in Wisconsin. Kind of what I thought.

Didn't really see much of them to be honest. They were just getting to the trains when we were leaving. We already had a photo session, a pig roast and took a nap by then.
