Just don't get caught! Cop told me I could have been charged with a felony. As it was, I had to hire 2 lawyers, 5 court appearances, a safe driving class and 100 hrs. community service. No kidding don't get caught. First lawyer no showed on my 4th appearance cuz he himself got arrested for embezzling client funds the day before....fml....guy used to be the mayor of Middletown CT ffs! Fortunately I got a local fire chief to write me up a letter for 50 of those hrs. cuz i did him a big ass favor. Never want to go through bullshit like that again. Ive been burned several times by so called "good lawyers" Luckily I havent needed a criminal attorney in a long time but this guy I have now I swear he just sits around and thinks of things to bill me for. I just got a bill last week and im like "I havent even talked to this mother fucker in 3 months, what the hell could this be about?" So I call and ask him and he says. I had the little one with me in the truck at the time and it's our local (small) cop shop right at the end of my street. We were in a hurry, I told her to hang on and I took off. The tires did squeal a little. Both of us had a chuckle until the lights came on and I had to pull over. I was back on my way in less then 5 minutes with no ticket and he kept saying "I get it, I get it" the whole time then said "Have a nice day".
