They won’t sentence him for 6 months and that sentence hinges on what he provides the investigation. If they feel not enough he gets 5 years.

He will rightfully get a pardon

Just how exactly can Trump be charged with Obstruction of Justice?   Jesus you people have no Constitutional knowledge what so ever.   Bush Sr. pardoned Casper Weinberger and wasn't charged with obstruction.   He can fire whomever he wants in the DOJ.   He can instruct them to stop investigating or to investigate.   People need to get off the "obstruction of justice" idea because he fired Comey.   THAT IS NOT ILLEGAL NO MATTER WHAT HIS THOUGHT PROCESS OR JUSTIFICATION WAS.

"There's never been a case in history where a president has been charged with obstruction of justice for merely exercising his constitutional authority. That would cause a constitutional crisis in the United States," Dershowitz said, adding that he hopes Special Counsel Robert Mueller understands that before he considers bringing an indictment or recommending that the matter be referred to Congress.

"And Sen. Feinstein simply doesn't know what she's talking about when she says it's obstruction of justice to do what a president is completely authorized to do under the Constitution."

He added that if Trump truly wanted to impede Mueller's investigation, he could have pardoned Gen. Michael Flynn to prevent him from cooperating.

"The president would have had the complete authority do so and Flynn never would have been indicted, never would have turned as a witness against him," said Dershowitz, a lifelong Democrat.

Well he can be charged but not for using his constitutional authority.   It has to come from OTHER ILLEGAL ACTS like in the cases of Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon.

People including the media are forgetting Flynn's actual statement to the judge at his hearing.

“Is your willingness to plead guilty here today the result of a discussion you had with the government through your attorneys?” the judge asked.

Flynn said yes.

“There are no side oral agreements?”

Flynn said no.

Flynn was asked if he understood he could face a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a fine of $250,000. He said he did.

Asked if anyone had promised him that he would get a lighter sentence in return for pleading guilty, Flynn said no.

“Has anyone forced, threatened or coerced you in any way into entering a guilty plea?” Contreras asked,

Flynn said no.

Finally, it was time for the plea. “Guilty, your honour,” said Flynn, in a quiet but steady voice.

Nixon wasn't impeached ;) just Slick

Well true.   There were articles of impeachment reported to the whole house.   That has only happened 3 times in our nations history.  Nixon resigned before he actually was impeached.
