What do you want to know about it? I was the right age when those where all the rage in the early 2000's. Pokemon is back in style now so potentially could be worth a couple of bucks if it is a real 2000 mew card. Probably not $1000's but maybe $100 or so? I haven't kept up with them while I do still have most of my collection when I was a kid.
  4. This is the fuel station I usually fill up about 20 mins west of Edmonton. Took this picture two nights ago.

  7. Very nice. Although I never understood why on a $100,000+ vehicle Ford decided to use red plastic caliper covers instead of just using red painted calipers.
  8. These are fantastic podcasts to listen to. Gives historical context without today's conflict thrown in because it was done in 2015-2016. Now the first one is only a 30 min podcast that directly connects with today's conflict. The fear and loathing in the new Jerusalem is a 7 part, 20ish hour long deal that explains how we got to here, here being 2015 https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9tYXJ0eXJtYWRlLnN1YnN0YWNrLmNvbS9mZWVk/episode/aHR0cHM6Ly9tYXJ0eXJtYWRlLnN1YnN0YWNrLmNvbS9wL2xldHRlci1mcm9tLWEteW91bmctZ2lybC1pbi1wYWxlc3RpbmU?ep=14 https://martyrmade.com/fear-loathing-in-the-new-jerusalem/
  9. And to think in northern Alberta, I rode my KLR today
  10. You could paint a thousand beautiful pictures and never be called an artist. But let one dick brush your lips and you are a cocksucker for life
  11. I have/had it as well. I bought it when it was on sale for $200 Canadian. Speeds were extremely meh for the $150 a month I was paying. Went back to my old provider that is definitely slower but at $50/month I don't care. In my area the cost just didn't justify the performance. I had a subscription for 4 months. Zero obstructions. I am 30 mins west of Edmonton Alberta.
  12. Here is a really good podcast on the background of the conflict between Israel and Palestine. This podcast was put out in 2015-2016 so there is no bias from the recent escalation https://martyrmade.com/fear-loathing-in-the-new-jerusalem/
  13. 2008 Polaris Switchback Dragon 700 2007 Arctic Cat Crossfire 600 I would be lucky to put 500 kms on between the two of them a year. Like Neal, kind of loosing ambition. Low snow years making it hard to ride to the trails and lack of owning a trailer doesn't help. Still own them as I paid less than $3000CAD each so they really don't cost anything to sit there. Nice to have around when the nephews come out or the rare trip to BC if the opportunity/situation arises.
  14. The story I always heard that it was a typo and it stuck
  15. If I remember right, I think I heard something about the CDC removing self defense statistics recently. Found this on fox news. So take it for what it is worth lol https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foxnews.com/politics/cdc-removed-stats-defensive-gun-use-pressure-gun-control-activists-report.amp
  16. Most of these mass shooters have displayed warning signs that were ignored by family and friends for years. Yes, some do slip passed unnoticed or suffer a mental break that blindsides everyone. The answer still isn't to take away the right from the vast majority that still deserves or has earned it. Per the numbers, this "mass shootings" pose a very small risk to the everyday person. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/04/26/what-the-data-says-about-gun-deaths-in-the-u-s/
  17. Honestly I struggle with what their options are. The extremely large majority of anti gun people don't even know most of the laws that are currently already on the books let alone understand them. That is all the way from the low information public to the lawmakers, to the political representatives and ending at the POTUS. They are clueless when it comes to guns. How they function, the capabilities and how they are currently regulated. So how does one fight an information war where the highest elected seats in the land are lying against you? Banning firearms of any kind really doesn't solve the root problem which is violence of any kind. Violence is violence, no matter the tool used. Non partisan studies have proven this. Sure you could do licensing (which I agree with) and background checks (which already happens at pretty much anyplace one can legally purchase a firearm aside from off the books private sales), safe storage laws, ect, but these only effect the law abiding public. These while good measures, they don't target the right people. We need to go after criminals. We need bail reform and sentences that actually stick and are made to last. Not out on release to commit again in a day or a week. We need to actually punish with a high level of consistency. We need to seperate gang, inner city ect. crime stats from actual regular crime stats so get can get a better picture of where resources need to be spent. Spending billions of dollars going after AR-15'S or any other firearm that is arbitrarily deemed an "assault weapon" by people who don't understand them or don't personally care for them and want to force their opinion on others won't solve the problem either. All that does is entrench both sides into their beliefs. Real, effective change can only being to have meaning and take shape when there is true and honest facts and discussion. But that will never happen while guns are used as a vote buying tool for the uninformed and scared voter.
  18. https://youtu.be/U6Eoss6iLsY For some reason I can't get it to embed. It is a video from Colion Noir and he breaks down the mass shooting numbers a little bit in the video.
  19. I hit a deer on my way to work 3 years ago. 5 of them came out of the trees and started running parallel with me in the ditch. I got on the brakes real quick and that's when a year old made a 90° right infront of me and tried to jump the road. The front tire of my KLR caught it right infront of its hind leg and sent it spinning into the ditch. Thankfully I managed to slow down enough that I didn't crash and stayed on the bike.

  21. You should start a thread just for your travels. They seem incredible!!!
  22. There is a husband and wife that are in their late 50's I believe up here in the Edmonton Alberta area that bought two of those brand new back in the day. One silver one red. They have been daily driving them since. All year round. Rain, shine , snow doesn't matter. Edit: I guess he bought one in 2013. Not brand new. But between him and his wife they have 4 and they daily drive them https://acuraconnected.com/2020/01/19/rogers-1991-nsx-daily-driver/
  23. Maybe I misunderstood. I thought you meant f/a ment full auto firearms and not just firearms in general. I have a small collection of firearms but nothing full auto lol
