Listened to the whole podcast today. Certainly is interesting. That Jewish talkshow guy on the radio here had a lot today about this podcast this afternoon too. -
New poll shows RFK Jr.'s campaign could sink Trump
racinfarmer replied to Crnr2Crnr's topic in Current Events
Of course RFK will take more votes away from Trump that Biden. When the Democrats trot out their POS, they tell everyone "You'll vote for this POS and you'll like it," and they all fall in line... -
Sub-prime auto loans are seeing a similar delinquency rate. 6% or so. It is at it's highest rate since it started being tracked in the mid 90's. Normally under 2%. Lots of squeezes on the middle class and lower middle class, and the auto and CC stuff are the easiest ones to ignore. In case anyone is wondering, auto loan debt surpassed student loan debt in 2023...

US migrant crisis shifts from Texas to California border
racinfarmer replied to XCR1250's topic in Current Events
I had to travel to Mexico in early December and where 8 drops down by the border, there was a small camp of migrants you could see from the interstate, probably 2-300 living in tents with a few porta-johns. San Diego's time is coming if it hasn't already. -
Where is the next closest pavement track? The Dells? La Crosse? Elko? They'd have to rip up the pavement if they have a chance and making it work.

They only race one or twice a year. During the fair for sure. With all the other racing to be had within an hour or two of that track, there just aren't enough cars around. Being how developed it has become too, I don't see that track reopening full time.

Deer Creek and Mississippi Thunder are the two best run tracks in the midwest.

Lots of great local racing to be had all over. Unfortunately, the track closest to use can be a bit unstable in terms of management and being the biggest track in the area, a lot of racers shy away from it.

Only bikes I have right now are a retro 10 speed and a carbon Wilier. Some of the road nurds I've seen I swear have a death wish. I have some place to be after my ride.

I am positive there are a lot of determined miserable people with a lack of common sense in that video.

Found a nice used Specialized Status 160 I might need to look at next time I make an appearance at the office. Not too certain how well it would do out on the flatter parts of this state though.

Minneapolis guys ... the ones who smoke anyway
racinfarmer replied to Bontz's topic in Current Events
The various MN crime pages are pretty hopping right now. It must have been one wild ass weekend in the Shitties this last weekend. -
Yes/no. Sold my mountain bike a couple years ago and haven't bought another right now. Keep eyeing up a Polygon Siskiu T8, but every time I'm ready to pull the trigger, they are out of stock on the one I want or not on sale.

Arrest warrant issued for Minocqua Brewing company owner
racinfarmer replied to Doug's topic in Current Events
The more I read about this cat, the more I think he is like the less successful, poorer, liberal version of the My Pillow nutjob. -
NH record housing median sales price
racinfarmer replied to 800renegaderider's topic in Current Events
I haven't seen anyone discuss not only the cost of the starter home and if they'd just cut out their morning coffee, everything would be just fine. Even if you could twist the numbers to work out on the mortgage, you still short yourself on retirement. -
All the sketch stuff in the high end car market finds its way to Florida in some what at some point. Some vehicles take a very long journey to travel a very short distance.

What tonnage presses are you running? Asking for a company that would be a bad customer and not pay for 120 days.

1st round of peas are planted, started planting onions and carrots. 1st round of sweet corn will probably go in soon. Put potatoes in the garden on Sunday. Waiting for everything else. 1st year we'll be able to pick asparagus too.
