Put a timing belt kit in the Accord today… had to make a special tool to hold the light weight crank pulley to get that damn bolt out… the rest was just knuckle grinding wrenching!

In my lifetime, (20 more years maybe?) I don't see snowmobiling going away. Will I have to go further north to get there? Perhaps. But last year was a pretty epic year in southern MN for snowmobiling! I have also seen years where it didn't snow for shit, and was pretty warm... 1981 comes to mind for me. 54 degrees on January 24th with ZERO snow on the ground! So climate change is real! Well of course it is - the climate is ALWAYS changing.

Do any of us really think they will give out an honest answer of where the cocaine came from? I know I don't - and quite frankly I don't care. What we are told and what happens most of the time are two completely different things.

Absolutely! And like in the Twin Cities, a lot of those recording stations are in those metro heatsinks! Almost any day the Minneapolis "Official" temperature is recorded at the MSP Airport, it is almost always warmer than it is at my house, just 15 miles south of there. Huh, go figure!

I fully understand they are posting data "Since 1979". They have a cool shiny newer tool to measure temperatures, and apparently it does a really good job at that. I would take this new data "Since 1979" with a bit more seriousness if they bothered to even mention previously recorded high temperatures during the 1930's, or any time in the pre-"Since 1979" stats they are now collecting. But they don't, and they won't.

I’m putting forth misinformation - is that because of semantics? That’s EXACTLY how they are pushing it… they throw the big scary graphs with RED splattered all over them, and in the upper corner of the screen the graph says “1979-present” without mentioning it… that gets a pass because they put up that little quoted tidbit?

Since 1979… think about that next time you see “ever recorded”. I was hoping others had actually read the article… It was 106 today, July 6th, in the Twin Cities in…. 1936.

As someone who has zero interest in ever diving again, but went through a number of "Resort Dives" where they teach you what you need to do and do it without being certified, I can tell you the bold is spot on. I did about 5 resort dives with the CFH back in the early 2000's, and the best dive hands down was the one we did on Little Cayman off the Bloody Wall. The instructor had my attention and I nailed that one, actually made it a full 45 minutes under the water. The others I did were mostly failures in the 0-15 minute range.

Nah, not a mental disorder - that's just normal people these days.

Wow - might be a really long fall staring at it in the garage… but I’d rather be doing that than looking at snow on the ground without it!
