Almost a CARBON copy of last summer! Corn is still growing (saw someone setting up a sweet corn stand in Farmington on Sunday), alfalfa still being cut (2 cuts so far in my field and ready for a 3rd), beans look real good - what’s the issue?? Maybe like last year we can do a ton of riding from home!

I get reminded every time I show my face in the office, just how fat so many people are - its absolutely insane. I'm up 15 pounds since snowmobile season, and I got NOTHIN on 98% of the people in this office... disgusting. And to stay on topic (Which is impossible around here) I asked that question long ago - what are they going to push on us next when the climate is still changing/warming in 20 years? I probably won't be here to watch it.

I wish my 2021 XCR was on there for a new clutch - at 11,000 I'm having them rebuilt this fall. Our club pres has his 2022 XCR 850, and his snow checked 2024 XCR 850 on the recall list. He hopes one of them will be ready by 12/1.

Is that a real Cobra or a Kit car? My brother used to work for a company that did kit cars back in the early 2000's. Had a lot of fun test drives!

I didn't fact check any of it, and yes, that was clearly photoshopped. I just mean in general, summer is hot right? So Red is what we get. Just like all these air quality maps they throw at us now - did we not have air quality issues years before from wild fires?

Yeah, red is scary... It has become the color of popularity when showing weather related maps.

If tilting earth by .00000002% affects anything climate related that we can measure, it’s over. 🙄

I don’t remember exactly where that was but I’m sure I rode by it this year! I think @Doug is making sure they keep the trail open during construction as well as after. Sounds like there is a good plan in the works.

Yeah as @favoritos said, I forgot to mention the fences - trail just rolls right by them.

I haven't had to work through the lease or permitting process with a solar company, but I know of a few trails in MN that roll right past the panels - doesn't it fall back on the land owner? It is still their call I would think.

Looks similar to those old "To catch a predator" shows. There sure are a lot of mentally ill people walking among us... and you never know who. Many moons ago when I participated in a work Fantasy Football League, there was a group of 12 of us that became friends, getting together for draft and end of season parties for 15+ years. One of them turned out to be into child porn and the rest of us never had a clue. Yeah, he went away for a loooooong time - never seen or heard from him since, other than his sentencing. I think he got 24-25 years or something like that in Federal prison. The guy was married and had 4 kids! His oldest was a Junior in high school when he got busted.

It really is weird that the likes of ABC, CBS, and NBC are basically snubbing it, with virtually ZERO coverage for an industry that is desperate for coverage 99.9% of the time.

I guess the title of this thread should be changed then... sure looked like a positive move when proposed and passed.

I just don't see how normal "Women" can be for any of this. I mean, it's pretty obvious there is a difference physically, even when the best women's soccer team with the failed Subway spokesperson, gets beaten by a bunch of 14 and 15 year old boys. DUH. Before the interwebs, it was a decent few minutes at the beginning of the show seeing all the hot chicks!

It's a given... And 99% of males around the world have just lost faith in beauty contests, or what ever they call them today, if any ever cared before.

Bet there's no whining about global warming/climate change up there!

I have no idea how or why - but simple things like a 105mph wind storm in my home town in 1981, has only occurred once, that one time, in RECORDED history. If I remember hearing the news blathering about the storms in the north east in my middle of the night sleeplessness, one said something along the lines of this is the worst flooding in 100 years... Well, do we have proof of you making that claim? Or is that just another way of saying it's never happened before, but apparently it could have... I have no idea. It's all sensationalism for the media - hey, who doesn't like a cool never seen before raging river taking over a town? Not that I don't feel bad for those affected.

And where would we be without fossil fuels…
