  1. Now that you guys bring up the NASCAR thing, I did a Richard Petty Driving Experience in Orlando (Disney) about 10 years ago, one hell of a good time if only for 8-10-12 laps at a time. Me driving with a ‘coach’ in the passenger seat, no using the brakes did a 138+mph lap there. It was an awesome experience - the $5 for insurance saying I’m not responsible for wrecking the car on the track was all I needed to go full out! Disney Speedway is a 1 mile “mini-Pocono” tri-oval....
  2. If you sold a sled within the last couple months, you did REALLY good, or at least should have.... Sleds with 3-4k miles are asking for waaaaay more than I paid 2-3 years ago for the same sleds with less than 500 miles....
  3. Isn't there a place you can go to get all the insanity you want, without jerking off on your computer at people just wishing there was more snow on the ground? And no, that white stuff in your hands is not the same thing.
  4. A buddy got a VR1 137” 850 Launch - zero complaints on his first 350+ miles this last weekend. The motor is super smooth! He’s made a few suspension adjustments to his liking and is happy with it. However, The few miles I put on it didn’t make me want to sell my XCR. I’m sure the better shock package would be an improvement.
  5. Sweet!! I had done a lot to the motor on that car, all NA but dyno tuned 205 HP to the wheels - not bad for a 2.2 motor at the time. One of the funnest cars I’ve owned.
  6. Funny, I haven’t even gotten a shipped date on my snow check yet!
  7. Absolutely Knee pads are needed on the VR1 - For me anyway
  8. I like it! (And the French chick!) Simple way to add very usable storage.....
  9. I'll bet one thing, the OP is the same kind of guy who would show up to a high school graduation party, giddy as a granola bar he was able to ride a bicycle to a kids party, with his spandex outfit highlighting his junk for all to see..... a visual nobody wants or needs to see!
  10. Good luck - with what I've seen of the MNusa recently, they are rolling over like most other political committees. I hope what you say doesn't fall on deaf ears.
  11. On the signing up, leaving without getting tested, with a positive result, I heard this no less than a dozen times with my moms older friends. Most of them never went back even if they got sick, as long as they could handle it. And anyone who thinks this virus was not used politically to go after the current administration is completely blind.
  12. Bicyclists are part of the entitled crowd, until they have to do something to maintain said trail. They want everyone else to pay for it. In Minneapolis, its the same people who want to defund police, cut bail, and close the prison systems, that take lanes of vehicle traffic, and put up cones to keep cars off them. Then, when it snows, they complain the plows aren't clearing the bike trails..... because the plows can't get behind their little barriers. SO, they spend more money on specialized equipment, just for the bike trails. As the OP said, "Good stuff". I call BULLSHIT.
  13. It happens, and it will happen again. My parents have a picture of us kids in shorts, barefoot on grass, on January 24th, 1981 at 54 degrees - this year is not quite that bad yet, but is definitely off to a slow start.....
  14. Best quote from the article: Though there has been some coverage of lockdown harms, the media have not paid the same attention to it as they have to COVID deaths. If there is a COVID-death tracker, there should be side-by-side with it a lockdown-death tracker.
  15. What the hell are the likes of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC etc etc going to do in just over two weeks? Who the hell are they going to blame for all the shit that's happening? Who are you mouth breathing keyboard jockies going to point fingers at? Is McConnell going to be the new target, because he has an R next to his name? Or is everything going to be rosey now that a D has his old ass in the big house?
  16. Well, that’s one way to help keep your immune system stagnant....
  17. If they take it off - here in the Twin Cities LOTS of people driving by themselves in their car with the mask on. It really is quite comical....
  18. Dude - that chart I provided was from a Cuomo press conference May 7th!! That was from their own statistics! Notice how he doesn’t provide that data any longer? Yeah, because it doesn’t fit the stay at home narrative. Go ahead, stay home. I’m not waiting for life to pass me by, I’m going out and improving my own immune system. My 79 yo mom? Yeah, she’s playing it safe at home, good for her. Science - right??
  19. Just like New York back in May right??
  20. When you are 6' 5", knee pads are a necessity. I ordered some after the first 20 mile ride on my Switchback. Not to change the subject, but are those the mirror mount locations on that Matryx?
  21. Those MERC's were faster than Kitty Kats!!
