  1. Yes, WI NEVER shut down, and yes, population could and should be taken into consideration. The point is, the shut downs didn’t do SHIT except restrict some people’s ability to work.
  2. Hint: you have to look at the case count number on the right of the graphs, the scale is a little different based on the one day reported spikes for MN and MI.
  3. Here are the case count graphs for MN, WI, and MI over the time period. Take note of the case curves and tell me what is different between the three states, then tell me which state stayed open the whole time.
  4. So June in Minneapolis: The mayor says let them take the 3rd precinct, they’ll be happy after that and go home. (Which they didn’t) January at the Capitol: We have credible threats of violent protests, so send in the guard in a preemptive measure! Never was more than 4 or 5 ‘Trump-supporters’ on the grounds. Anyone who can’t see through the BULLSHIT is a complete moron.
  5. Yes I am - could be the state fair grounds, I honestly don’t remember where I was, my mom would know....
  6. I actually picked mine up on Tuesday - out of the blue call, no email - but I am riding it now!
  7. Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan have nearly identical case count curves on their graphs and the only difference was Wisconsin stayed open. Telling certain businesses to close was a complete shitshow, and never should have happened. And these morons who made those decisions took almost a year to figure that out? Not a single one of them should be re-elected, ZERO.
  8. Yeah agreed. I snowchecked one this year specifically for the 4-year warranty with the miles I put on. And I already have a backup to the backup. Hopefully all I need is warranty work and parts for the next 4+ years.....
  9. When I drove at Disney, the answer would be YES. The coach sitting next to me had a 1-10 dial knob that he could open it up more and more as you learned the track, your ability to trust the tires, and stay inside the "gates" they had painted on the track for optimal speed, and most importantly, your ability to listen to the coach. He also had a brake pedal of his own. They had a cone on the inside coming out of a corner, that was the roll into the throttle marker, and then a cone on the outside of the entrance of a corner, that was the let off the throttle marker. As you learn the track and show your ability to handle the car, he opened it up a little more almost every lap. As I got better and better the coach was having me let off later, and get on the gas sooner. I could tell I was going a hell of a lot faster on lap 14 than I was on lap 4. My time slips and lap speeds reflected that. Funny story, on my 15th lap of 18, I let off coming into a corner a little early, and the coach lamented as he said I was turning some very impressive times. So I thought I'll just get on the gas a little sooner coming out of the corner - BAD IDEA! I felt the ass end break loose, and as the coach said WAIT WAIT - I felt it, let off, waited for him to say GO, and continued, though clearly lost some speed. When we got on the front straight the coach said "Did you feel it break loose back there?", "Yes I did", he said "Don't do that again!" I think it scared him a little.... as it did me at ~100mph with a wall on our right! I don't know all the tracks they do this now, but if you get the opportunity, purchase the smallest package you can before you go. Once you are there, you can upgrade your experience for about half what a pre-pay would be, that's what I did. I know there are a lot of guys who have big muscle cars, and some here who have probably raced. But someone like myself who is a car enthusiast and never had the chance to drive on a track, it was AMAZING to say the least. If you do a little search, you can see why this track closed. It had too much competition from local events in southern Florida, and a professional ride along coach/driver died in a super car when someone lost control and hit the end of a wall barrier, because the super cars went clockwise on the track.
  10. Now that you guys bring up the NASCAR thing, I did a Richard Petty Driving Experience in Orlando (Disney) about 10 years ago, one hell of a good time if only for 8-10-12 laps at a time. Me driving with a ‘coach’ in the passenger seat, no using the brakes did a 138+mph lap there. It was an awesome experience - the $5 for insurance saying I’m not responsible for wrecking the car on the track was all I needed to go full out! Disney Speedway is a 1 mile “mini-Pocono” tri-oval....
  11. If you sold a sled within the last couple months, you did REALLY good, or at least should have.... Sleds with 3-4k miles are asking for waaaaay more than I paid 2-3 years ago for the same sleds with less than 500 miles....
  12. Isn't there a place you can go to get all the insanity you want, without jerking off on your computer at people just wishing there was more snow on the ground? And no, that white stuff in your hands is not the same thing.
  13. A buddy got a VR1 137” 850 Launch - zero complaints on his first 350+ miles this last weekend. The motor is super smooth! He’s made a few suspension adjustments to his liking and is happy with it. However, The few miles I put on it didn’t make me want to sell my XCR. I’m sure the better shock package would be an improvement.
  14. Sweet!! I had done a lot to the motor on that car, all NA but dyno tuned 205 HP to the wheels - not bad for a 2.2 motor at the time. One of the funnest cars I’ve owned.
  15. Funny, I haven’t even gotten a shipped date on my snow check yet!
  16. Absolutely Knee pads are needed on the VR1 - For me anyway
  17. I like it! (And the French chick!) Simple way to add very usable storage.....
  18. I'll bet one thing, the OP is the same kind of guy who would show up to a high school graduation party, giddy as a granola bar he was able to ride a bicycle to a kids party, with his spandex outfit highlighting his junk for all to see..... a visual nobody wants or needs to see!
  19. Good luck - with what I've seen of the MNusa recently, they are rolling over like most other political committees. I hope what you say doesn't fall on deaf ears.
