  1. Exactly, they say they don't count multiple tests, but I disagree. For each test result I got a whole new set of texts and phone calls. When I asked why I was being called again and told them I'm not a new case and I've already answered these questions, I was told it came across as a new covid case and they were unaware of my other test results
  2. I only did because I was supposed to have 2 negative tests to go back to work. All 3 were positive so I got nose raped for nothing....
  3. My city does them for free. This summer I had 3 done. Sign up online, drive through testing.
  4. I'm up to 21 family and friends that have had it. Only my MIL needed to go to the doctor, but it wasn't serious. The other 20 including myself were totally fine. Nothing more that either flu or allergy like symptoms

    Oh he dead.....
  6. Opposite for me. Our whole group of friends that were together on the 4th all got it, didn't miss one adult, got 14 of us. Did miss all the kids though, ages 6-10 and about 16 of them.
  7. Good to know because even though I couldn't smell it, I could feel it burn deep in my sinuses. I got a lot of prep and painting done that weekend since I couldn't smell any of it. Worked out pretty well actually. I also got rid of some old shitty beer I had hidden in the back of the fridge.
  8. Slight tickle in my throat, kinda tired a couple days. That's pretty much it. Wife was about the same but had a cough for a few days. Said it didn't hurt, just felt like something in her throat, giggity
  9. Even though I was perfectly fine, the losing taste and smell was really weird. Its not like it's just hard to smell or taste, it 100% shut off over night. Dinner was good Friday night, Saturday morning 100% nothing. Even though it probably killed brain cells, I took a sniff of acetone to see if i could smell at all.... nothing.....
  10. On hardpack is just fine. Throw some good studs on it and it hooks fine for trail riding. I did these and it's great on the trail.
  11. Rip 2, it's a lot better in the loose stuff than the original.
  12. We took our kids out of their school system because of this terrible e-learning shit and found a school that was actually open. I was surprised there was still a couple openings. When we returned their school supplies they said they had a lot of kids withdrawing because of not being open
  13. How in the fuck is people not doing what they are asked to do Trumps fault?
  14. I went to work that following Monday-Wednesday because I felt totally fine other than a tickle in my throat. Felt like normal allergies really. If my friend didn't test positive I wouldn't have even thought about it. Well, until a week later when my smell and taste 100% shut off. That was weird....
  15. I think it's getting weaker. BIL and SIL that had it back in March were pretty sick for over 2 weeks. Same age as me and pretty healthy. 14 of us got it on the 4th and no one was very bad. I barely had any symptoms.
  16. 14 of us adults all got it, not one of our kids showed any symptoms.
  17. Any cold I've ever had was worse. Only an off feeling in my throat and a week into it I lost all smell and taste for about 3 days. The wife was about the same but had a cough, I didn't. Friends that had it too did have more body aches and worse coughing, but no one was super sick.
  18. I still wear one just so I don't have to deal with people being shitty about it, but I don't feel I need to. The only 2 adults with us on the 4th that didn't get covid was my brother and sister-in-law that had it back in March. They have been re-exposed to it twice now and was fine. I'm confident I'm good for a while at least.
  19. So how accurate do you think these numbers of positive cases really are? So I tested positive for covid on July 11th. Per the CDC guidelines at the time, if you test positive you need 2 negative tests before returning to work, so I got tested 2 more times a week after all my symptoms were gone. Sure enough, those test were still positive. Because I had another positive test, I got another call from the health department wanting to ask a bunch of questions. I explained to them I already answered all of them after my first test. So I then asked, since I had 3 positive tests, does that mean when the state reports their number of positive cases, do mine count as just 1 or 3? She said their system only shows the latest test and can’t even see my other 2, so it appears your 3 tests are going to be reported as 3 separate cases. All my friends retested as well with more positive results. How the hell can they accurately say how many cases we have when multiple test by the same person count as separate cases? These numbers have to be so overinflated! Why would the CDC say to get 2 more test if they know it’s just going to screw up their counts? Such bullshit
  20. My 85 year old aunt has it right now. No respiratory issues, just really tired. Hopefully that's the worst she has it.
  21. Prime drivers around me all seem to take good care of the packages. Set them down easy and take a photo. They are even wearing their masks properly. I always wonder if the delivery people are better knowing they are on camera.
  22. That's not true. I was retested and still positive 2 weeks after I was over any symptoms. These tests can't tell the difference between an alive and dead virus.
  23. Since I've already had it, there is no reason for me to wear a mask. I still do just do I don't have to deal with people getting shitty about it
