Great trip down to Gorham today. In the 67 miles before lunch, passed 1 sled and 2 groomers. Only problem was with the below zero temps and the grooming they did last night we were overheating all day long.

I was following it pretty close on FB. This is a good example why I only peruse FB for sledding info and don't use it as a social network with my friends. The knee jerk reaction comments people are making trashing him is ridiculous. Sure he made some mistakes but have some respect for him. People acting like know it alls on there.

About time someone started this thread!!! Im having a good season despite the warm weather. 900 miles so far with a lot of time off saved for Feb and March.

Agreed on all points. I kind of miss my 04 Tahoe too. My new truck outperforms it on all levels except for seat comfort.

I got an iPad mini-2, work gloves, flashlight, and long johns for sledding. Also bought myself a BV2S this morning. Wasn't planning on it until spring, but it was a deal too good to pass up.

5" here today. Long range temp forecast looks good as of now. I don't think I'll be riding opening day, but possibly before Christmas. Fingers crossed.

It was all elevation dependent here. 1" at my house, but a town that's 30 minutes away got 18".
