irv Posted September 15, 2019 Share Posted September 15, 2019 Best I got with my 13 Ram Hemi QC 4x4 with a 3:55 gear ratio was 11.7 Ltrs per 100 km's traveling approx 115-117 kmph on the hwy with my wife and son and a small/light amount of gear which equates to 20.1 U.S. mpg. Bringing my boat home last Monday travelling the same hwy and going against a slight 8km/h wind, I got 15.4. Unless I'm towing up north for 7 hours then it can go down to 12. But Thursday night I drove home from a banquet and put the cruise control on at 5 over the speed limit cuz I had a few drinks. 60 miles back and mpgs were at 19.9. It hasn't been a stellar vehicle, it's been in the shop quite a bit. The most reliable trucks we've had were all 6.0 gmc's. Things run forever.
