Gov spending when the economy is on the ropes is a much different situation than gov spending when the economy is good. Taxes should not have been cut

I agree with you for once, moron. :bc:

@Highmark always says that tax cuts reduce the deficit, I always say history proves differently.

History repeats itself once again.

Wrong.   I say tax cuts increase govt revenue.

When was the last time taxes were cut and government spending didn't increase?

When was the last time govt spending didn't increase and I'm not talking about a % of GDP?   I always thought that was a retarded way of measuring spending considering all govt spending is a part of GDP.

The point is when the government spends more it takes in a % more in revenue "Taxes".

So if you can't point out a time when taxes were lowered and government spending didn't increase you can't claim the revenue increase was from cuts rather than spending.

What?   Yes you can, tax revenue and spending are tracked separately.

When the government increases spending it also collects tax on that spending, they don't separate the taxes on spending from other taxes.

  You think what it collects is even remotely equal to the spend?

"govt spending is good because it increases tax revenue."

Holy fuck I've heard it all now.

No not at all, that's why the deficit grows so much.

The govt. gets back a % of every dollar it spends.

How many times have you complained about the % of income the govt. takes?  The same holds true for what they collect from spending.

@1jkw :owned: your ass.  The increase revenue is not from the tax cuts but the increased spending from your repugs.

:lmao:
