Anler
It would be great if he did something meaningful. I am actually in the process of renewing our company benefits right now. This shit sucks hard man and the issues we are dealing with isnt going to be fixed with any "new legislation". If Trump is really going to fix anything he will address medical costs and eliminate insurance companies all together.

I thought you insisted earlier insurance companys are making a bare minimum profit now a days? So why eliminate them all together when they're providing a cheap service? And who would replace them in what they do? The gubment?

Anler
We would be better off if there were no insurance companies. Then medical providers would have to practice functional medicine that people could afford. When is the last time the medical industry cured anything? Now that would be outstanding, but in this day in age, where every big corporate business hires 3 people to do the job of 1, I don't see how the cost is coming down. New tech comes out, and people want to make $ off of it, and how do you keep them from doing that? Only way I know would be to outsource from another country where someone wants to provide it cheaper, however then it's a quality risk. I'd hate to be the one in charge of figuring it out honestly. I have no good answers.

ActionfigureJoe
this is not going to kill the aca. not even close. most companies already anticipated trump’s hand and baked in a price hike. those that didnt will do one of two things, they’ll either appeal to regulators for an increase in premiums or they’ll use an escape clause in the contracts that if government subsidies were ended they could stop insuring. sorry boys. :-)

Trump should have stopped them day ONE but he was willing to let the appeal happen. That's not going quickly so he is doing what is right and cancelling the subsidies. One administration cannot simply say we are going to pay private companies subsidies FOREVER without future congressional approval. You guys should understand that. Its the dems party its time for them to step back up and decide what's gonna be served. Trump gave them an open invitation this morning. Chances are states will sue the federal government over the the lost subsidies. Since it has been ruled unconstitutional the suits should be tossed out. In today's world who in the hell knows.
