Fire can weaken steel and concrete?

Recommended Posts

That is going to be a major traffic issue for a long time - not quite on the same scale of a bridge collapse, but pretty impactful like the 35W bridge in Mpls a number of years ago.

This is where we need Japan's help. They'd have it fixed asap.

I'm headed back to Philly in August. Definitely avoiding that area.  If China can build COVID hospitals and camps in a week you'd think they could get an overpass knocked out pretty quick.

They replaced a section of bridge on the turnpike north of philly last year I believe, in a week end.  I haven’t seen the size of this one that’s burnt, only heard about it.

They should be able to do the same with this one. Blueprint is already on file.

China would have it up and running by Monday of next week.

I originally put China, but then I remembered how fast the Japanese fixed those sinkholes they had.
