It’s not like someone who worked at McDonald’s is gonna be pulling in 100k in unemployment or am I wrong? If I’m wrong I need to work on getting fired harder depends on the state i suppose. When I collected UI during covid the first time it was $1100 per week, 2nd time was $750 per week. 1100 per week X 52 weeks = $57,000. My working income had been just over $60K. So yeah, I should have just stayed home the entire time.

How many guys you know started a family with a chick that they never married for some reason? Or, how many people you run in to that are on ‘disability’, but can somehow do all kinds of outdoor activities?

Only 1 employee, but 2 vehicles, and they both were always gone for jobs at the same time and home at the same time. They had all the toys. Your employer's business would be in shambles at best if the low skill/minimal skill employees all switched to riding the pogey. Be thankful they have some pride and work ethic.
