You Indy/third party idealists need to start at the local level and put forth candidates in local/state election cycles.  Instead of showing up every 4 years pointing fingers in every direction, washing your hands. Then complaint when you only get 2% of the vote.

Maybe I’m just taking the easy way out by saying we are fucked, and there’s nothing that any of us can do about it. That’s clear. How can I say that? Because even if we agree on the direction that the country needs to go in, we can’t agree on who to vote for and the people running this clown show won’t allow it no matter how we all vote. If this midterm cycle wasn’t a SMASHING example of that, I don’t know what else could be, imo.

I'm too old to change anything and frankly it's more amusing to urinate on both sides... even though here in the far right echo chamber I'm labeled as a democrat, Iib or worse.  I've been a bigger prick to the fringe on some left leaning sites over the years than I have ever been on here.  

this said, I detest Trump as a human being and as our leader.  he got a few things accomplished in office I agree with. 

Joe needs to pull the plug on 2024 and the Dems better step up their game, find a middle ground horse and get back to the center ASAP or they'll likely get clobbered in 24 unless the repubanadians coming into Congress really fuck up.

I partially agree. Local level or not though, they’ll never run this country. 
 

And honestly, most of what Trump ran on is independent type stuff, imo. Even holy comedians say it. They just don’t “say” it.

You missed the part when I said that I’ve seen it. The entire thing. It’s just another Chappell act. Turnout was low and still had 3 million more votes.  People were complacent and let the perfect get in the way of the good. 
 

if young people continue to turn out at higher percentages and overwhelmingly vote blue - Repugs are toast.  They are already a minority party having lost 7/8 general elections and only remaining relevant due to gerrymandering and the electoral college.  Over represented in the House and saved in presidential elections.
