Thomas is right. That shit is not even close to being in the Constitution. While I agree with the net effects of those cases, as do the vast majority of Americans, they're both shit decisions from a Constitutional jurisprudence perspective.

Griswold vs Connecticut ruled that the US Constitution protects the right of couples to buy and use contraception without government interference.

I am surprised/shocked how easily america gives up rights, us included.

From here, IMO anyway, it appears the religious nut jobs in the US,  have done one upmanship on the the Taliban in Afghanistan as far as women's rights go.

Am I mistaken?

Is it any dumber than how left wing crazies would ban guns of many kinds, if the court would abide?
