They purposely picked CO2 to be the face of the crisis because carbon is the basis for everything.  There are much stronger green house gases. There are also gases in greater abundance.....

Our atmosphere is .04% CO2 so an increase of 2% is still fucking negligible. 

It's. Giant fuck ruse...yes the earth has warmed. However,  don't ignore the fact that ice covered where most of us live at one point. The earth warmed and the glaciers receded..that was long before the dreaded internal combustion engine.

I'm just going out on a limb here, but to say Ice Shelves breaking off are something new is demented all on its own.  I remember back in the 70's, when I was taught about Glaciers, aren't they always MOVING, which when they reach an ocean would cause them to push into said ocean and break off?

No, no. Glaciers are always suppose to be growing, or at least be stable. If an ice cube breaks off we are all DOOMED as it can only mean one thing!!!!!
