What was the fastest stock 2 stroke sled?

I had both a 2010 cfr 1000 and 800 ho. They were similar. 800 ho probably faster to 1000’ and the 1000 maybe had a bit more mph 

they actually were within about 4-5 hp of each other

That motor was probably the last of the sleds with big gains from aftermarket exhaust.  The y alone had significant gains.     

Jaws appears to have found some power on the Doo 850 but not near what the 1000 had left on the table from the factory.

This one was just down the street, not sure if it sold. Could have got it for a lot less

That cat 1000 and the ultra were about the most choked out by factory exhaust lol

That means off the showroom floor, taken and pinned on a lake, for a mile, what is its TOP SPEED.

You asked for the fastest STOCK 2 STROKE!!! Not drag race, not tuner kits, no turbo, not 600', not 2000', not pro-racers, not nothing, but a fucking sled taken from the dealer and pinned on a goddamn lake!!

When I bought my 2007 Z, I had been out of sledding for 20 years. I googled, " FASTEST STOCK SNOWMOBILE ", and the MACH Z 1000 came up.

I do believe it was the fastest stock sled, because SKI-Doo intended it to be. I think they knew EXACTLY what the 98 CAT 1000, would do flat out, and they exceeded that top end. 

All I can tell ya' is that it was DANGEROUSLY FAST on a lake. 

Mine SHIFTED-OUT at 115, heading north from Cote Rock on Lake 

Massabesic, and I got scared shitless.

Speaking iof which, clown550…..Sled before that in 1985.

Then bought the 1000. Drove it a few times. Ran it out of gas, left it at dealer rest of year. Sold it. 

That’s it. Now sticks himself on s sled forum for no reason other than to be a fuktard douchebag.
