Why would he race it on snow ? Way more consistent start on ice. Who built the motor ?

Tell is more about how trail sleds can’t do 0-60 in 2 seconds

Go check out Craig Campton on FB (owner of Hypersports) he has a video posted of one his customers sled at the snow drag a couple weeks ago in Rice Lake, WI. 163 MPH in 500ft., it's like he got shot out of a cannon. These motors are being detuned because at full HP they're smoking belts. I believe one his motors a while back dynoed over 1000 HP, just insane for a sled.

Hey peckersnot, post up all your time slips, 0-60 in under 2 seconds, instead of just re-gargling cum.

Interesting, how do you get any consistancy at the starting line ? Do they use 2 inch paddle tracks without studs ?

Yeah, there’s a lot of tricks to it. You can’t just use any paddle track. Open class guys often have studs

how does that track stay together with that kind of strain on it and all the stud holes?  Detailed track photos please.

It’s a 159 with lots of iron in it

Just now, Frostynuts said:

If that snow is packed hard enough that studs can add to performance, why wouldn,t they just run on ice, to try and use all the power they can get to the ground, instead of wasting it while digging a trench  ?

Because they would be doing 180+ mph in 500’ and it’s not safe
