Storm forecasting is accurate about zero percent of the time. I don,t get excited about a forecast anymore. I wake up in the morning, look out the window, and see what we actually got, and decide what time I want to go out and clean it up.  Gotta love retirement.

Yup. I wait until the radar is showing it about an hour away. Anything else, and it could be off by a lot.

Looks like over a foot of powder now.

I hope it is powder. If it's wet, it's a mess here. It's cold so I think it will be powder.

I'm just gonna' monitor it, and see if I will do it twice, or maybe just wait til it's all done, and clean it up.

Ya see that you old irrelevant puke?  I have an ECHO leaf blower* starts on 1-2 pulls, works FUCKIN MINT for blowing snow.

You can get cited here if you put snow into the street.

This is why my place is kinda' tough to do when the ground is still wet and we get slushy, wet snow.

Our driveways are  ALL GRAVEL/DIRT, with the lawns areas on the side of them. So, when I plow wet stuff I have to be sure I don't gouge up a ton of mud, and rip a shit-load of lawn up.

That's why I use gravel shoes on the BOSS, otherwise it would be a shit-show until the ground is FROZEN SOLID.

Last storm.

Pic today. Waiting for next one tonight.

I’ve got basically the same unit. It’s about 6 yrs old now. Runs fantastic. Much better than the toro my father bought. Just replaced the auger belt. It was the original belt.

A good snow-blower will clean out a driveway a lot faster than people think.

I would recommend that you watch the forecast.  If they are predicting a big amount, go out and blast the first 6-8". Then wait till the end and go finish it all up.

NICE MACHINE, RED!!!   Woo HOO!!
