Just a did a little search and it sounds like most mates/crew work for tips only and many suggested 20% if the trip is good.

$600.00 for the 5 hours so $120 - $150 would be about right, thanks

funny timing on this as I was just looking at charters today for Lake Ontario. Figured it'd be a fun day in a summer where there isn't much available to do.....
