AKIQPilot
The last 2 days of numbers are somewhat encouraging. The rate of increase in the number of deaths and the number of infected has slowed down. Or it could be just fewer tests were given and a few less people have died. But then comes the question as to how you secure the borders to keep people from moving around? You can't without military intervention. People will continue to flee hot spots in massive numbers. If they don't self quarantine it will never end. Even if they do do it the numbers will rise in non hot spot areas.

Gas stations by my camp are closed at 8pm and no pay at the pump when they are closed. I’m getting notifications on Facebook about it this morning. There is a reason a customer sent us permits to buy gas over a week ago. Long distance travel is going to start getting tough to do. It appears they are implementing things slowly,so not to create mass panic.

What are gas stations going to do start denying customers with out of state plates? Can't really legally do that. What do the people do if they are basically out of gas. Let them shelter in their car? If they want to stop state to state travel the military has to do it. Country will really panic if that happens. Advertising Member Seatofmypants Posted March 30, 2020 Advertising Member Share Posted March 30, 2020 "IF" we don't get some sort of control over the situation our economy will not make it. The FED won't be able to print money quick enough and a depression will ensue. This wont be popular but at some point we will have to go back to work and that may be at the expense of some deaths (that may have been prevented with a longer shut down). While I don't disagree, we cannot live without some sort of economy.....lets assume this takes a year (because dumb mother fuckers aren't listening) what will be left of our economy? We will have to be back working much sooner then that...we only have a few weeks/months at the rate we are going.
