Going into its tenth season of racing on the original factory engine!

might pull it and send it away to get it made into a spec engine... I guess everyone is doing it. Either that or retire it and see how the new cat does

The only reason to race 500' is if the speeds make it necessary to keep it that short. So it's fine for outlaw class sleds making 600+ hp

Everything else runs 660 or 1000

When we ran 660 I just took the CFR and won. Every time. 500’ made it very hard.

Even 660 is just a traction game. Run at least a 1500 ft if you want to see if a sled can catch up, or pass. 

I guess it all depends on what you are trying to prove, or dis-prove, with a race ???

When we used to fool around racing against our buddies, we would run 3 different types of races. Set up your sled, and with zero changes, run 600 ft, 1000 ft, and 2000 ft. If you could win 2 out of those 3 you were doing well.
