Hell yea baby. I hold FDX and UPS. Both solid companies for their employees and shareholders.

FedEx is going through quite the rough patch lately....

They had a terrible quarter, stock down 10%....loss of amazon was a part of it. ...while UPS benefitted from it.

in the short term

fedex decided to take the pain of splitting from amazon while things are good,  UPS i am sure has plans in place to do the same but will just do it a bit later.

of course they will, they will still need a distribution arm for the rural areas but the populated areas they want to deliver from the warehouse to the doorstep and are spending billions on that.

yup.

And they’re hiring like crazy around here. Starting at 18 an hour and growing like they are probably a good chance at advancing within the company.

Last week a small Amazon branded Ford Transit style van dropped off a package at the motorhome at 8pm. I had gotten a text that the package would show up around 8pm.

I had ordered the item around 10pm the night before.

Unreal.

I know! We have a couple amazon distribution centers around us so alot of items are next day. Word is that it is not easy working for Amazon, they have alot of attrition.
