If number or hospitalized and deaths so far  as an indicator Canada is doing pretty good so far, maybe just lucky who knows.  One thing we do know is our numbers seem to be low so far.

almost all cases are from travelers, most not from China.  What countries are you okay with?

Have you seen China?  do you really think a sick personal can just roam around and leave?

If you show any signs you are not allowed to board any plane to Canada - seems okay to me

Should we close the borders to everyone?  yes or no

If Wynne closed everything you would be freaking, DOUG closes everything and you are angry but can't say anything so you  have to direct it to somebody else ' Trudeau'

laughable

why are you ok with flights coming in loaded with family members of Chinese Canadians shithead, because Trudeau the retard is allowing it?

'show any signs'.

Using that logic no reason for a 14 day quarantine is there? Fucking moron

And again, why are you bringing Ford up in a comment about international travel that is a federal responsibility? Are you literally so dumb you just can't not bring Ford up in every discussion about Trudeau?

The reality is relying on people's honesty is not going to work.  There were news stories last night of people knowing they had symptoms and self admittedly lying and trying to hide them because they were desperate to get back to Canada.

Any news links to those stories, RJD? Mind boggling flights are still coming in from China when we were told back in January these flights would be stopped!

? it is a Canadian effort to bring home Canadians :dunno:  something Trudeau's government did with Air Canada

Even more Canadians are expected to come home in the coming days as Canada arranges a handful of flights to scoop up travellers stranded abroad by travel restrictions.

This morning, Champagne told CBC Radio's The Current he negotiated with the Peruvian government late into the night to allow three Air Canada flights to enter Peru's closed airspace.

A few hours later, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said two more Air Canada flights will pick up Canadians in Morocco in the coming days. Air Canada has also been cleared to fly to Spain, while Air Transat has been cleared for two flights to Honduras and one each to Ecuador, El Salvador and Guatemala, he said.

"This is probably the largest repatriation effort in Canada's history in peacetime," said Champagne, whose department has received close to 10,000 calls and 14,000 emails in the last 48 hours.

I don't expect you to understand - these are not pleasure flights coming from China

After temporarily suspending flights to mainland China, two of the airline company’s final flights arrived at Pearson Intl. Airport. Erica Vella spoke with some of the passengers.

ONEWAYs looking for the hate

It is mind boggling you don't understand what bringing people home means

I saw that on the news,  I think many would try to say they are okay just to get back home

It is mind boggling you don't understand what bringing people home means

Quite the back peddling from last night, Trail, or were you just agreeing with Frenchy because, like usual, you don't know squat?

Trudeau's travel ban CLEARLY states 'family members of Canadian citizens' are exempt. That means non-Canadians you halfwit.

WRONG

Air Canada is extending its cancellation of all flights between Canada and China to April 10 due to the novel coronavirus epidemic, following the lead of its U.S. counterparts.

The announcement comes nearly a month after the airline first halted direct flights to Beijing and Shanghai from Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

t extends the suspension by nearly six weeks, as the virus known as COVID-19 spreads from China to some three-dozen countries, infecting more than 80,000 people and causing at least 2,700 deaths.

Air Canada says it is also scrubbing daily non-stop flights between Toronto and Hong Kong from its schedule until April 30 because of reduced market demand. The carrier says its ongoing daily flight to Hong Kong from Vancouver will accommodate customers originally booked on the Toronto-Hong Kong route.

Here you go,

https://www.cbc.ca/news/investigates/how-sick-canadian-travellers-are-masking-covid-19-symptoms-to-get-through-airport-screening-1.5508276

Looks like she boarded a couple of days before JT announced those with symptoms won't be boarding, but I doubt it would have made much difference.
