Not being on the UN council is irrelevant and I could care less if we are part of that USELESS ORGANIZATION. Anything that allows veto power to Russia is just plain ridiculous.

X2

Bob Rae went to Myanmar to look into the Rohinga (sp?) crisis. Has the UN done anything about this?

Atrocities has that occurred w/o the UN doing anything are well documented

Pol Pot's reign of terror in Cambodia

The Rwandan genocide

If the UN had actually done something about either of these events maybe people wouldn't be so down on it.

It was the Vietnamese army that invaded Cambodia to depose Pol Pot & end the genocide that killed approximately 2 million people.

In Rwanda, up to 800,000 Tutsis were killed by the Hutu majority under the watch of UN peacekeepers.

The UN has proven itself to be useless.  It needs to be completely restructured and veto privilege from ww2 removed.

Canada is not a laughing stock.... either are the people of Canada.... just Trudope the clown. The world is laughing at him and feeling sorry for us for having him as PM.

Meanwhile in Peru he is trying to sell Canada as a great place to invest and GET THINGS DONE... He dodges questions about why he can't get the pipeline done and the investors would lose. Kinder Morgan would take their $B's and leave.

He needs to tell BC to STFU but stands to lose 17 seats or he keeps those and loses far more.  Decisions decisions.

In 7 years the UN hasn't accomplished a single thing regarding Syria. They have met 5 times since the poison gas incident and done nothing.

More stupidity from the forum clown. :clueless: If the Kinder Morgan pipeline doesn't get done Canada will lose the $B's that they would have invested and the significantly impair the ability to get that oil to market. Your lack of understanding of anything financial continues as usual.

So tell us Fail... what have you ever done to help anyone in need?

So if he is for it then do something about getting it done rather than doing nothing. Finally he is at least meeting with the Premiers of BC and Alta. Hopefully he will just tell BC it is going ahead period. No discussions, everything has been properly reviewed and assessed.

You know... something like when he told the provinces THEY WILL IMPLEMENT A CARBON TAX.

Pay attention Fail... he has been painfully absent from the situation far too long. Instead of dealing with important Canadian concerns he has been flitting around the globe or on vacation.
