It was pointed out many times during the Snowden leaks how the FISA courts would later be used for political purposes but of course those concerns were brushed aside at the time because of national security concerns yet here we are today. Keep in mind that when he made those comments he sat on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence providing him as high as clearance into its activities virtually anyone. I won’t hold my breath on indictments like many are. It only took a few short years to go from national security to a political weapon.
