Even with communism (soviets) on the side of the allies the brutality of that form of govt needed to stop from spreading. Again the intentions of wanting democracies are good but the implementation is virtually impossible without the people wanting it. Democracies suffer from corruption and can fail to bring about sufficient change. We've regretfully seen this almost everywhere we tried to get it in place.
