Few cat sightings around here. F&G still says pilot error and they are not Mountain lions even thou one was killed by a car in CT. Nothing really scary in these parts cept timber rattlers. And they are so rare Ive never even seen one.

Big cats and fucking chimpanzees scare the fuck out of me. Creepy and sneaky for the cats and psychopathic musclemen for the chimps.

Fucking Chimps are scary as fuck.   Go after the face and genitals and rip them off.   Crazy, crazy strong.

About 1 every year or so show's up in Iowa.   Guys who were building my house and a neighbor swore they have seen them and up close.   Usually young males passing thru.   Got plenty of bobcats on trail cam.   Cool as fuck.  Hope I see one with my own eyes someday.

Ive had a bobcat in the yard and a bear stops in once or twice a yr. He's actually quite fun to watch.

I’ve read stories about chimp attacks. The people have said that they knew the thing could’ve killed em at any time, but instead it opted to treat em like a Mr Potato head and rip pieces off their face and body while being amused. They are just fucking evil. What I’ve never been able to understand is how chimps and bonobos are so different yet evolved a river width apart.

We are actually seeing a big uptick in wild cats around here.  Lots of critter cams catching them the last few years.  We've always had plenty of bobs but, cougar sightings are up too.

The theory is that the two didn’t cross breed because they’re poor swimmers. The bonobos are used as an archetype of pre-agriculture humans in the book Sex at Dawn.  That introduced me to the bonobo. Their entire cultural behavior is wrapped around sex and trading sex for goods. It’s a total matriarchal society, same as many pre-agriculture human societies.

Yeah...not an overly big fan of most hunters.  But I know some good ones and keep my own hypocrisy tightly cropped (imagine that...it’s not really that hard either).

Me likey meat!!!!  There is no better jerky than venison.  I made a batch of my “famous” venison chili last month.  Fuckers that supplied the meat left me just enough to make me mad!!!

Every group unfortunately has their fucking morons.   Snowmobilers and hunters included.   Some groups like liberals are just full of them.

You need a pink hat.

Had a huge Coyote cross the back yard this week. Texted my neighbor who usually keeps them in check. Hoping he gets a shot at it.

We literally can't kill them fast enough.   Between the 2 groups that hunt them with hounds in our area they shoot over 150 a year.   Doesn't dent the population.

I've never gotten into coyote hunting because they are so much like dogs but I may.   Neither of the groups wants to hunt my ground because of how its set up on the river and tough to get shots when they run up the river valley.
