Polluting should not be free.

They used that money to deny climate change. Exxon has known climate change for 40 years. They all spent that time convincing people like you that it isn’t real. Obviously it still works. Same shit the tobacco companies did. I bet there are still people on here that smoke, would smoke around their kids. That’s why it was called an inconvenient truth. Oh yeah, but all it takes is for some of these types who think this way to get into politics....then they feel it's their "duty" to control others all in the name of saving the planet...or other "good intentions" '

Rod
The alt left is so anti science. The climate has always changed. Even if man ceased to exist tomorrow it would still continue warming. The minuscule amount that man “may” have contributed thus far is minuscule at best. That’s not what’s starting fires the alt left wouid rather bury their head in the sand and convulse “TAX THE RICH” than admit their policies were ill advised and adapt accordingly forest have always burned. It’s part of their cycle

Yeah they’ve done studies and the amount that they would actually have to charge for a carbon tax to make a difference is so astronomical that it would break everyone RFN. Something like $3000/tonne theres a reason here they want to tax carbon. We can’t stop using petroleum based fuels. They don’t want us to change, they just want the money. And $50/tonne is just where is starts.
