Yeah, opinions vary especially on garages. It’s a well a ventilated garage plus a vented heater.  I like using a vb. If it’s done correctly and sealed properly, it works well.  If it’s put up half assed it can be a mess and a waste.  I don’t half ass anything.  I’ve seen mold with and without it so.  Really no perfect solution for that.

If you do use it you have to be very meticulous. .....that means taping around boxes and penetrations and making sure your staple and nail holes are over studs etc. I just prefer to let a building breath unless it is going to be atmosphere controlled

What about that spray foam? That looks like a good way to go. Isn't that better than fibreglass INSULATION?

Yes.....closed cell spray foam is the best possible option for a building envelope .....nothing else is even close

Yup.  I use a ton of caulk and red tape.  Sealed tight!  It’s just kind of overkill for a garage.

Yep.  Good stuff but really spendy. I’ll use it in my final house because I can justify the cost.  Right now, I’m still just building this for somebody else and making sure I get maximum profit. Although, my wife is trying to go the other way with profits.  Retard!

I put 10k into my foam in my dome house......and that was with a significant discount because I used to be half owner of the rig. Its amazing shit

Technically no but have built ten homes over the years acting as a laborer, GC and PM.  So,  I know my way around all aspects construction, plumbing, hvac and every thing after and in between.

Pretty much spent the day out and about.  Determined that furniture shopping is only 1 step about cell phone shopping.

Picked up a bunch of Polky sticks today too.  Get them for ya'lls offspring.  It'll shut them up for a while.

I did the furniture shopping thing too. 1 step above a root canal.

HAHA, I used to sell furniture back in the day. Guys were fine if they were by themselves. When they came in with their wives they couldn't wait to get the hell out of there. Having a game going on a big screen helped as long as their wife didn't mind them wandering off

Bought the sofa and loveseat a few weeks ago. Had to get a coffee table and tv stand.  Floors getting sanded and refinished beginning of December . Then have the new shit delivered.
