Did Obama make a promise of a set number of jobs in his term(s)?  :dunno:

Neal

WASHINGTON — One day after the nation’s unemployment rate was reported to be at a 16-year high, President-elect Barack Obama on Saturday again raised the estimate of how many jobs would result from his economic recovery plan, saying it would create or save three million to four million, nearly 90 percent of them in the private sector.

Last week marked the first anniversary of President Obama's stimulus package, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The ARRA, which was based on Keynesian ideas, was intended to improve the economy by increasing aggregate demand, through a combination of temporary tax breaks for some taxpayers and higher government spending.

The ARRA was expected to keep unemployment below 8% in 2009. But despite its passage, unemployment rose to 10% by the end of last year, with more than 3 million additional lost jobs.

one of the funniest hack moments in FSCE is when wolfie's view of the economy did a 180 the day after trump took office  couldn't even try to make it look less obvious.

Food for thought. If you guys started opposite, he did a 180, and you still don’t meet eye to eye, what does that mean you must have done to still be on opposite ends?

fail. nice try though. i'd have to believe the economy is fake, and sucks now, to do a 180. wolfie has done the 180, not me. i think the economy is getting better and better as i have always stated.

WHEN DID THE NUMBERS GO FROM FAKE TO REAL???

When they had to start revising the numbers up instead of down.  When businesses started crediting trumps policies to either hiring more people or giving bonuses or consumer confidence going through the roof. All in the face of the fed doing it's best to slam on the brakes with rising interest rates. Obama didn't accomplish any of that with 0 interest rates and the fed pumping trillions of dollars into the market.

No go sell more light bulbs and maybe you'll get a bonus.
