Ha! dont hold your breath. The green runs deep there.

Buss needs to read that tho, they could end up making a documentary about him "The last Arctic Cat buyer" His place will be like one of those Cuban auto shops that scraps parts off of old junk and refurbishes it for other vehicles..

It is a good point.  I like the idea of multiple options for spring check.  Hell, if it isn’t built yet, why not?

Even skidoos snow check sucks compared to Polaris.

I mean, sleds averaging $15k now?  I think it’s time to let consumers pick some fucking colors and other items from the factory.

No shit. Like it is going to drive up costs to have a couple different decals and powder coated parts around.

Polaris doesn't do it for free but at least you have a choice.

Well, it might a bit but we’re getting to a price point that it is still profitable.  3 or 4 choices in colors and a few shock options and bits and pieces just makes sense.  Especially since the flagships are not much more than the base models with BNG’s and fancy shocks anymore.  Lame.

Yeah and they dont have to finance that shit to sit on the showroom floors. Colors, tracks, shocks and all accessories. Its not rocket science. Plus its a good data tool for what consumers are wanting.

Bingo. Lot of data to be gleaned by what they release in the fall.

Yeah, but most spending $13k already would probably pay $14k for a custom experience. If you already are taking it, might as well take another inch.

They make a shit ton off of the accessories. Buying sled stuff is like going to a strip club, you just throw your money at it.

I think we’re gonna see regional type dealers with a couple of demo sleds on the floor but it will be a catalog type purchase with options.

But the Oem’s can’t offer too much from the factory or else they start stiffing their dealers of accessory and part profits.

The auto companies were throwing that idea around decades ago. Make car components and just have sample models at dealerships. You order your car with the options you want, it gets put together and your car is delivered in 1 or 2 weeks. .

The thing working against the dealers is they want to close the deal and get you to drive the car home. Last thing they want is for you to go home and think about or shop around after the fact.

Where is Vince? Is he avoiding us?

He's been very quiet on his sled.   He's avoided all sled topics. Likely because of the last handful of cats the 600 is the only one that didn't give him problems
