Kenseth destroyed nascar not Jimmy,   guys the reason we have the fucking chase.   boring as hell driver wins the championship by driving around in 10th place for 36 races.

I used to love those shows like Wind Tunnel and Inside Nextel Cup.

 

And that was one of the first time where we found out he wasn't just the simple sweet guy Cousin Carl....lol

Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain was a great show.

I'm not a fan of either Dillion. RCR hasn't amounted to much since Harvick left. Even with Harvick they were still a middle of the road team.

true,  

surprised Newman isn't out of there so it can be a team full of daddy/granddaddy money drivers.  Menard would have been shown the doors years ago without the sponsors checks.  Not sure how long glory of the past can keep sponsors at that place

All these super teams have seen their share of upheaval but while JGR and HMS manage to keep their shit running in the right direction over the long term RCR and Roush have not even with the manufacturer support.

Caterpillar probably didn't want Ty or Newman would have been shown the door. RCR never did adapt to running multiple cars going all the way back to senior and Skinner.

Newman has a deal with Cat and a few other sponsors that if he goes to another team , they go with him. RCR had to keep him for the empire of cards . Dale Jarrett  had the same  type deal with UPS.  UPS did push hard for Jarrett to step down into the truck series, but that was a no go.  " Dale drive the truck " meme.   In todays francecar a driver has to bring multi funding sponsors to a team for a seat behind the wheel.
