Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted January 16, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 16, 2018 They may make a decent second car but for most people they don't make sense.
ArcticCrusher
How do you add a Catback exhaust to an electric car? Sounds like a drill.
Rod
Yeah electric is junk at this point
Jet
its coming, it's all about the battery, wang chuanfu at BYD will more then likely be the one to win the race, he has buffet backing him
xtralettucetomatoe580
It comes down to infrastructure. The way of the future is quick charges as well. They are getting pretty damn good with those, but the problem is scale. Our Yota forklifts with Hoppeke batteries charge in about 20 minutes and run an eight hour shit balls to the wall. That shit is impressive.
Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted January 17, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 17, 2018 My wife works 12 miles from home and when we head up north its always in a truck. Electric would work for her, but have to be an SUV.

Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted January 17, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 17, 2018 I laughed at a post some time ago regarding claims of both autonomous and electric vehicles and how many would be on the road in the near future. Looks like he agree's with me.
Platinum Contributing Member Skidooski Posted January 17, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 17, 2018 Strange when GM and FCA are moving away from sedans lately. The high volume stuff are the trucks and SUV's. Gas price spikes and this all will change yet again.
