It starts for a few seconds then quits. Occasionally it will run for 1-2 minutes before quitting. Its been sitting for two years without running.

Where should I start looking?

Have you put kerosene in it ???????????????????????/////////////////

Obviously, but its old kero, like over 2 years, Im thinking that is likely my problem. I can drain it easy enough but do theae little things have a filter?

It should burn it and if its lighting its not the fuel. I am not familiar with the exact model but its likely the thermocouple , low o2 sensor or air flow switch

I guess I got some trouble shooting to do.

Lot of good youtube videos that show how to disassemble and clean them up.  Could be a sticky air pump, could be blocked knozzle, could be dirty eye, etc.  They don't look hard to work on at all.  If it worked before parked, i'd say it's just something simple.

Quick google shows the HSI to be a bit more complex ......make sure the UV flame detector has a clean lense

That is what I thought does it have a flame sensor cuz that symptom sounds like a dirty flame sensor on a furnace :dunno:
