We had a heavy cigar smoker come that was trading his truck in. We put the ozone cannon in overnight and there was barely a faint smell left that an air freshener couldn't mask as long as he didn't light up another stogie in there.

The shop I was polishing at uses them. The longer you leave it on the better they work but make sure you air it out after.

We're only getting the main part of the basement painted in primer. The house is pretty much painted in neautral colors and doesn't need anything. As long as it's clean and doesn't need any repairs most normal buyers can see beyond paint to make it their own.

We we're considering waiting as well but with the uncertainty decided to list and see what happens. We're listing at the price we want which'll keep the lowballers out and if someone wants to go higher be our guest.

Real estate in our area doesn't stay long on the market and even the shitholes are selling. A developer bought some waterfront on a nearby lake and sofar 4 out of the 6 homes/cottages have sold for $4.5 +mil each. Seems like there's no shortage of money for some. I'm listing my house with 2.2 acres for $799,900 and testing the market.

We were out riding on a New Years Eve with a big group and had 4 young kids with us. The saga continues with my house building plans. We spent a week in Nova Scotia to see about building materials etc and talking to the builder. We started off with one model that has doubled in price, looked at another and realized we'd have to spend more to build a garage and the 3rd one has gone up significantly. We are waiting for a quote from the builder for a turnkey build . He won't be able to start till next spring and hopefully material costs come down a bit by then.

I'm hoping! The original kit I looked at has doubled in price. The 2nd choice just jumped $56K and the 3rd choice the price didn't change and they might've not updated that one yet. I'll find out on Monday when I talk to them. I was hoping to take advantage of the market here.

Cocksuckers! I looked at the kit prices on Monday and just checked again today as we're heading down east in the morning. The price just jumped up $56K. I'm definately not locking in yet.

We're heading down next weekend and meeting with Home Hardware building center to see about the building kit and a contractor. It probably won't get started till fall and hopefully the price of the material comes down a bit. It went up $70K then down by $30K and back up $13K. I'll lock in as soon as I see it back down a bit.
