  1. I was really close to pulling the trigger on going to the race this weekend. Figured the first year was going to be a disaster. Have to see how the track actually races tonight. Austin is probably the race to go to so maybe I'll do that one next year instead.
  2. The worst thing about the climate change fraud is how ESG has infected corporate America.
  3. Probably ok if you can fit whatever you are hauling in the 4 ft bed. If not, it better be a small trailer on a local route.
  4. How do you get rust stains out of concrete? Asking for a friend. I'd never buy another truck that has a steel body. The salt and deicer just dissintegrates the steel.

  6. I always use the recommended OEM fluid for the transfer case, transmission, and differentials. It's not that much more to use the factory stuff if bought online from places like Rock Auto. Differentials you can probably just use a good synthetic of the same weight. Transmissions especially should be OEM only.
  7. It's not just apartment life but city life in general. When I lived in St Paul was the only time I ever had anything stolen. They broke my window to steal a car stereo, broke into the garage and stole a bunch of my Craftsman made in usa hand tools, and tried to break in another awhile later. That was enough for me and gave my landlord his 30 day notice I was moving out. That would sting. Bet he is still picking out shot from beneath his skin.
  8. BRP sells a plastic protector that works pretty well. It comes stock on some sleds but not all of them, no clue why. Instead they use little stickers that wear through and don't cover enough area.
  9. For trail marking I personally like two markers, it's easier to see and keeps the trail consistent. Our club switched to singles and I hate it. The trail ends up being a single groomer wide in each direction. Once it gets whooped out the trail is 100 yards wide with sleds going everywhere. Then you think you are on the trail and all of a sudden you hit a big dirt clump since the trail is only groomed one pass wide. Then the next club over does it completely different...
  10. Yes, I do. Currently running the Ski Doo rail mount scratchers but looking to swap them to the new style before the season. We are out early on Friday and Saturday morning so the trails are really set up, especially after they groom. Spring riding you may be parked until noon if it gets above freezing during the day and freezes hard overnight. Just not worth the risk.
  11. Everyone moved production to Mexico. Instead of offshoring to China they are nearshoring to Mexico.
  12. The market reacting to the news.
  13. yup, another 25 bips. 10% mortgages here we come! The average new car loan is already 10%, used is well over that.
  14. Average cost of ownership is over $1,000 per month. Insurance premiums are skyrocketing. Our car insurance went up 31% and our homeowners insurance went up 16%. Add sales tax (around 8% in the metro) on a vehicle in MN plus registration (1.25% of value plus $10 plus $75 for an EV). Tesla Model 3 AWD Long Range $46,000 sale price Sales tax ~$4,025 Registration ~$660
  15. Seems more plausible than this killing 500 people.
  16. And the recording from Hamas terrorists explaining what happened. https://x.com/reuven_cazh/status/1714607275652899157?s=20
  17. Here is a photo of the hospital parking lot today and the "crater".
  18. I bought the tool bag from Klim and walked around Harbor Freight for 10 minutes. I'll try to remember to take a picture of what I put in there.
  19. See lots of them on the trails around here now. It's the best motor, best shock package, and best rear suspension in the biz. I wouldn't say it rails the corners on smooth trails like my 129 Procross but it doesn't steer like a freight train either. I'd like to ride it back to back with a Renegade XRS some time.
  20. Always good to get in and replace driveline bearings. Those are small bearings that take a beating. In the cover those should just pound out I would think, but I have a press if you need it.
