The outlaw grass drags are actually one of my favorite things at Haydays. I usually watch for an hour or two.

Blue Marble Oil...yeah an oil thread!!!!
I've never run OE oil before but will with the new sled. CTEC2 oil was $27 a gallon at Haydays. I only bought a gallon, wish I bought more. Previous owner ran Amsoil Interceptor. I wasn't impressed with how gummed up the valves were at 1500 miles. In reality, any of the modern synthetic 2 stroke oils should work fine as long as they don't turn to molasses in the cold. I used to run Amsoil but their whole MLM scheme is a turn off. Every time you turn around there is someone hawking the stuff that doesn't know the first thing about oils.

New Snowmobile Club
Was at the game last night. It was a closer game than it should have been. Wild looked slow. Lots of $12 beers. Tickets were free. Decent enough of a time for me.

How many miles on 600 e-tech before top end rebuild?
Same. Straight line wfo doesn't do much for me. Guess that is why we both have chick sleds. Got all ready to mow the lawn this morning. Looked outside, fuckin snowing! Have to resist the urge to RIP around the yard, will destroy the yard with how much rain we have had.

If you have Apple TVs, Roku, Fire TVs, etc. consider just going with Sling, PS Vue, Hulu, Youtube TV, etc. I'm on a promo rate, but my streaming tv only costs $43 after taxes.- ISP question
This is on wireless, router is upstairs, I'm in the basement. It's probably half that on a wired connection. Check out some of the prepaid companies. You will need to buy a phone outright. My wife is on Total Wireless which uses Verizon towers, $37 after all the junk fees. She uses her phone all the time and rarely complains about service. I bought her a Motorola phone on Amazon for a few hundred. Most people buy $800 phones without knowing it, put it on payments, and then get suckered into expensive plans by Verizon and AT&T.- TrueStory

The only one I watch is Mountain Men. I've watched every episode. Fun to see how people actually make a living. Wouldn't be for me but it's fun to watch.- wrenchin sleds !!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111 not beginner lessons!!11
About finished most of my preseason stuff up today. Cleaned the primary clutch. New puller and t60 socket worked great. Put the clutches on with a new belt. Deflection was way off with the new belt so adjusted that. Then put all the plastics back on. License numbers came in the mail so I put those on too. That's all I had time for today. Needed to weld up some coyote traps for my dad. Forgot I did modify my old snowmobile stand to fit the new sled. Took some round bar, bent it up, and welded it to the existing stand.- Meme thread

Here is the SDS for the brake clean I'm using. Nothing here is any worse for aluminum clutches than pure acetone.- wrenchin sleds !!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111 not beginner lessons!!11
I should probably pick up some acetone and start using that. I've always used brake cleaner. When I looked last night some people swore off using it while some CVT shops actually recommend it.- ***SnowRider's Official Sled Wrenchin' Tips and Tricks Thread!!!!"******
Been there, done that. On a Subaru where the oil drain plug was tucked behind a plastic access panel. The good news is the tranny fluid was overfilled by the mechanic last time so it was actually perfect once I drained a little bit out.- wrenchin sleds !!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111 not beginner lessons!!11

Cleaned the secondary up tonight. Little bit of oxidation or glazing on the clutch I couldn't get off with a scotchbrite pad but whatever. Didn't take it all the way apart, maybe next year. Doing the primary tomorrow night once the t60 socket gets here. Then set belt deflection. Do you guys wash new belts in soap and water? Never tried it before but did it on this one. I'll see if I can tell the difference once it dries. Measured the ski alignment and of course that was off. Get to tackle that once everything is back together.- wrenchin sleds !!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111 not beginner lessons!!11
Your right, its RV antifreeze. Splash brand I've seen is normally washer fluid. I remember guys cutting holes in tracks to lighten em up. Didn't know if the factories were doing it though.- wrenchin sleds !!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111 not beginner lessons!!11
